CONSULTATION SERVICES
The NOAA Research EEO office provides consultation for NOAA Research employees on a variety of issues including discrimination complaintsand career development. The EEO office works to resolve discrimination complaint issues at the lowest level without entering into the informal/formal EEO Complaint Process. The EEO office also provides consultation to applicants and community members on how to obtain federal employment and information on the complaint process.

Informal Process:

    NOAA Office of Civil Rights - 301-713-0500
    If NOAA Research employees feel that they have been discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, age (40 years and over), disability and retaliation for participating in activities protected by the civil rights statutes, they must contact an EEO Counselor within 45 calendar days of alleged discriminatin to preserve rights under the law.
