OUTREACH & RECRUITMENT
NOAA Research conducts short-term and long term recruitment with educational organizations and special emphasis programs working to increase the representation of minorities, women and people with disabilities in science related fields. Through outreach and recruitment, NOAA Research increases awareness of NOAA science, employment and career opportunities and address the needs and barriers that affect these groups. NOAA Research laboratories are also encouraged to participate in science and career fairs, mentoring, presentations and recruitment visits to colleges.
